XC NEW MATERAILS COMPANY tells you more about silicone webbing. You only spend ten minutes if you like doing business for webbing.Silicone webbing production need silicone dispensor,de-fuzzing machine, liquid silicone rubber, nylon, polyester webbing, baking box, turnover box,two workers.

How to choose the best silicone for webbing?

When you get the webbing, you need check the webbing content. If it's polyester webbing, you can use two-parts silicone or one part silicone.Alcohol-releasing liquid silicone rubber is your best choice. It's eco-friendly,less odor. The silicone product can stick strongly on webbing after cured. It can be cured by atmospheric moisture. You must keep production site with moisture 55-60%RH.If it's nylon webbing, you'd better use Acid-releasing LSR.The silicone has much better sticky force than other silicone ink.

Single-component, moisture-curing liquid silicone for webbing (dispensing/anti-slip coating)

✅ Optimal relative humidity: 50%–65% RH (recommended stable control at 55–60% RH); ambient temperature: 22–28°C (commonly 25°C)

- Below 45% RH: Insufficient moisture leads to slow curing, a tacky surface, and incomplete internal curing (uncured core/sandwich effect); this issue is most common in winter.

- Above 70% RH: Excessive humidity causes rapid surface skinning, bubbling, and pinholes; adhesion between the webbing and silicone deteriorates, and water droplets may condense on the silicone surface.

Distinction:

👉 Moisture-curing (Single-component RTV-1; commonly used for webbing dispensing): Cures via atmospheric moisture; humidity control is essential (the 50–65% RH range mentioned above applies here).

👉 Two-component, room-temperature addition-cure liquid silicone: Does not rely on moisture; cures after mixing components A and B; minimally affected by ambient humidity; no need for intentional humidification.

Key Production Points (Webbing Factory Operations)

1. Silicone coatings on webbing are typically very thin (0.2–0.8 mm). In an environment of 55% RH and 25°C, the surface dries to the touch in about 3–8 minutes, with full cure achieved in 24 hours.

2. If humidity is too low: Use a misting system in the curing room. If humidity is too high: Use industrial dehumidifiers.

3. Avoid rapid humidification; if the surface layer dries and seals too quickly, moisture cannot penetrate to the bottom layer, leaving the interior soft and tacky, which increases the defect rate.
